Fuel: closure of plant for private use

If a plant for private use is decommissioned (closed), the event must be reported to the Province in good time. Failure to notify is liable to an administrative penalty.

It should also be noted that before decommissioning, annual notification of the fuel dispensed is required. A copy of this communication must be attached during the online decommissioning procedure (see the further information section for more details on how to make the annual communication of fuel dispensed).

A fine of between EUR 50 and EUR 300 shall be imposed on anyone who decommissions a fuel distribution facility for private use without the required notification

The application can be submitted by all companies and local public administrations that need to divest a fuel distribution facility for private use that they own in the province.

The dossier must be submitted via the portal https://www.impresainungiorno.gov.it/. A guide on how to complete the dossier online is available at the bottom.

The notice of decommissioning is checked by the competent office and forwarded to the bodies concerned. At the same time, the procedure for the forfeiture of the authorisation is initiated, if the plant is authorised with an express provision, or a notice is sent to close the position of the plant if it was started with an SCIA.
