FEAMPA European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund

The intervention focuses on Specific Objective 2.1, called 'Promoting sustainable aquaculture activities in particular by strengthening the competitiveness of production and ensuring that activities are environmentally sustainable in the long term'.

The call, in particular, activates Action 5, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of aquaculture.

There are several types of intervention that can be financed, including:

Optimising water management in inland aquaculture.

Encouraging integrated aquaculture and synergies between different production activities.

Realising investments to improve the competitiveness, sustainability and resilience of enterprises.

Support employment, training and professional qualification.

Promote aquaculture systems that provide environmental services.

Monitor and manage the introduction of species for breeding purposes.

Support research and innovation.

To finance the call, the Autonomous Province of Trento has allocated a total amount of €1,034,764.00.

This amount is co-financed 50% by the European Union (€517,382.00), 35% by the State (€362,167.00) and 15% by the Province (€155,215.00).

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the aquaculture sector that
Carry out aquaculture activities exclusively or prevalently and have their registered office in the Autonomous Province of Trento.
Are registered with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Crafts (CCIAA).
They are registered with the Register of Enterprises in the special agricultural section for the activity 'Freshwater aquaculture and related services' (ATECO code 03.22).
They hold at least one company code for the "fish" species in the National Data Bank of the Livestock Register (BDN).
They have a valid company file with the APPAG paying agency.

Companies must employ fewer than 250 people, with an annual turnover not exceeding 50 million euro or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding 43 million euro

The application must be submitted online by accessing the provincial agricultural information system SRTrento at https://srt.infotn.it, which can also be reached from the portal https://a4g.provincia.tn.it/ from Wednesday 24 September 2025 and no later than 13:00 on Friday 31 October 2025.

Access to the restricted area of SRTrento is allowed only to registered users; therefore, each user must first log in according to the procedures indicated in the manual on the home page of the SRTrento website. Applications submitted must be signed using a valid digital signature.

The application must be digitally signed by the person entitled to sign the document, otherwise it will be inadmissible.

Expenditure is eligible if incurred between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2029.

The call for applications for 2025 is open from Wednesday 24 September 2025 and applications must be submitted no later than 1pm on Friday 31 October 2025.

The merit list will be approved within 25 days after the deadline of the call for applications.

Notification of grant or denial of funding will arrive within 30 days of the approval of the ranking list.

Once funding has been granted, projects must be implemented within 6 months (for purchases of goods and services) or 18 months (for projects that include construction work) of the grant notification.

Within 45 days of the notification, the beneficiary must communicate the start date of the works
