Consumer protection: contributions from associations (grant)

Consumer protection organisations registered on the provincial register of consumer and user associations in the Province of Trento, which operate an active helpdesk in the Province of Trento, may apply for a grant to cover both fixed running costs and costs relating to the activities (both routine and non-routine) they carry out. Each association may be granted a maximum of €7,000.00 per year to cover 100 per cent of the expenses incurred and documented.

The association must be registered on the provincial register of consumer and user associations in the province of Trento.

Only expenses supported by appropriate accounting documentation in the association’s name (e.g. invoices) and dated within the period during which the activity took place are eligible. All expenses must be paid using traceable payment methods.

Only consumer organisations registered on the relevant list maintained by the Autonomous Province of Trento may apply for the grant.

The applicant must submit their grant application in one of the following ways:

1. by emailing it to the certified email (PEC) address indicated on the form;
2. by handing it in directly to the relevant provincial office.

The applicant must submit their application, attaching a report describing the activities planned for the coming year, both routine and non-routine

Applications for funding may be submitted from 1 to 30 November each year, for activities to be carried out in the following year.

The association will be notified of the grant via certified email (PEC). The organisation will carry out its activities from 1 January to 31 December of the following year. 

Once its activities have concluded, the association must apply for the payment of the grant by 30 April of the following year.
