Description
For live performances (excluding dance events, nightclubs, DJ sets and country fairs) with a maximum of 2,000 attendees, it is possible to submit the relevant SCIA (Certified Notification of Commencement of Activity).
The event must take place over the course of a single day, between 8.00 am and 1.00 am the following day, and must be of an occasional nature.
A SCIA cannot be submitted; instead, a specific application (see below under ‘related services’) must be made for events:
- involving other types of entertainment
- or with a different timeframe
- or of a permanent nature
To hold the event, you must:
- submit to the Trento Police Headquarters (certified email: dipps183.00f0@pecps.poliziadistato.it) thenotice of a public event(Article 18 of Royal Decree 773/1931 – T.U.L.P.S.)
- comply with the requirements set out in Provincial Council Resolution No. 814 of 18 May 2015 regardinghealthcare provision at gatherings and events in Trentino

It is also mandatory to:
- comply with the provisions of current legislation oncopyright, ensuring, where applicable, the proper payment of the amount due in accordance with the terms and procedures laid down by law
- to obtain any additional authorisations (licences, authorisations, concessions, approvals, permits, insurance, etc.) required by other sector-specific regulations in order to carry out the activity in question
Restrictions
The event must be limited to a maximum of 2,000 participants, take place over the course of a single day, between 8.00 am and 1.00 am the following day, and be of a one-off nature.
