Authorisation or concession for works on cycle paths

Any crossings or use of the roadbed of cycle paths with works of any kind, whether of a permanent or temporary nature, may only be carried out with the authorisation of the owner body.

For the execution of works along cycle-pedestrian routes managed by the Autonomous Province of Trento, which do not involve the establishment of a concession with the managing body, a request for authorisation must be submitted.

For the construction and maintenance of works along cycle and footpaths on plots of land belonging to the provincial state property or to the unauthorised heritage assigned to the Employment Support and Environmental Enhancement Service, an application for a concession must be submitted. Concessions are granted only in cases of absolute necessity, subject to technical assessment by the competent authority, and may be renewed upon request.

Public and private entities

The application for a concession or authorisation must be completed and submitted, together with all the documents envisaged in the application, by one of the following methods

• by sending it by email to the PEC address indicated on the form, attaching an identity document of the natural person making the request
• by hand delivery, by the applicant, directly to the competent provincial structure;
• by sending it by registered mail, together with a copy of the applicant natural person's identity document.

Maximum time limits for concluding the procedure

• concession for the execution of works on cycle/pedestrian paths: 90 days from the day after receipt of the application or from the start of the procedure ex officio;
• renewal of concession: 60 days from the day after receipt of the application;
