Authorisation for bicigrill construction

The "Bicigrill" represent reference points along the cycle and pedestrian routes aimed at providing users of the same routes with a place of refreshment, information on the cycle network, provisioning, repair service and assistance.

The authorisation for the construction of these facilities is subject to compliance with the specific requirements set forth in the Del. G.P. no. 1771 of 19 October 2015 and its annexes, to the issue of consent by the manager of the structure responsible for the management of cycle and pedestrian routes, after assessment of the documentation and design drawings, inspection to verify the prerequisites, acquisition of the opinions on the merits by the municipalities and provincial structures affected by the intervention (through a services conference), and verification of urban planning conformity.

The operator of the bicigrill is also required to fulfil specific obligations when operating the facility, as set out in the Mark.

Operation of the bicigrill is subject to the granting of authorisation to use the 'Bicigrill' collective mark. This authorisation must be applied for using the appropriate form, and is only issued after the documentation has been assessed and an inspection carried out to verify that the requirements are met.

Public or private entities

The application is to be completed and submitted, together with all the documents envisaged in the application, by one of the following means

• by sending it by email to the PEC address indicated on the form, attaching an identity document of the natural person making the application;
• by hand delivery, by the applicant, directly to the competent provincial structure;
• by sending it by registered mail, together with a copy of the applicant natural person's identity document.

The interested party submits the application using the specific forms and attaching the project documents.

Using the application form for a trade mark concession and licence, it is also possible to request the possible takeover of an existing concession.

A copy of a valid identity document must be attached to the application (if the application is not physically submitted by the applicant).
