Authorisation for transit on cycle paths

The managing body of cycle/pedestrian routes, which has set restrictions for the circulation of certain categories of users, may authorise, on request, for serious and undeferrable needs or ascertained necessity, derogations or permits, subject to special conditions and precautions. It is therefore necessary, in the event of an unavoidable need for transit by motor vehicles along cycle-pedestrian routes, to make a formal request to the managing body in the manner described below.

Public and private entities

The application for authorisation must be completed and submitted, together with all the documents envisaged in the application, by one of the following means

• by sending it by email to the PEC address indicated on the form, attaching an identity document of the natural person making the request
• by hand delivery, by the applicant, directly to the competent provincial structure;
• by sending it by registered mail, together with a copy of the applicant natural person's identity document.

• chorography/planning with indication of the stretch of cycle/pedestrian path concerned by the transit or, in the case of a request for access to the property, map extract with the pp.f./p.ed. highlighted
• copy of the applicant's valid identity document (if the request is not physically presented by the applicant)
