Those wishing to obtain a second-cycle education diploma as a private student may apply as an external candidate
External (private) candidates must apply via the Services Portal.
Those who, after having attended the annual course for the State Examination (CAPES), have already been admitted to the State examination, but have not passed it, may submit an application, as external candidates, to the above-mentioned Service.
Each candidate may submit a single application indicating up to three educational institutions in which they intend to sit the examination.
