Application for external candidates for the vocational diploma examination

The general indications and application deadlines are contained in Circular no. 839847 of 08/11/2024.
Private candidates wishing to sit the vocational diploma examination must apply to the training venues identified each year by a specific circular.
Private candidates must present the training credits and skills acquired in their training pathway; based on these, they must take one or more preliminary and supplementary examinations (normally held in the second half of April), formulated by the commission set up at each Professional Training Centre exam venue after examining the curriculum presented by them

Applicants aged 18 and over

Applications may be submitted by

• Candidates in possession of a vocational qualification certificate from a Professional Education and Training (IeFP) pathway, consistent with the vocational qualification to be achieved, according to the access qualifications indicated for each technical vocational qualification and pathway defined in the provincial vocational training programme, issued by the Autonomous Province of Trento or by other Regions, provided that they refer to the same professional figures and are consistent with the provincial access qualifications for the fourth year pathways
• Candidates in possession of documented work experience of at least 12 months, even if not continuous, or of an apprenticeship of at least 320 hours, even if not continuous, coherent with the fourth-year pathway for which they are applying
  access to the vocational diploma examination as a private trainee, training in a business context or work experience in the
  company or work experience in the relevant sector
• Candidates who have passed the motivational or selection interview for access to the fourth-year course for which they are requesting admission to the examinations and who have not subsequently
  enrolled in the training course or who have interrupted it. Such persons are admitted to take part in the examination as external candidates in the training year following that of the course for which
  they underwent the motivational or selection interview

• documents relating to the admission requirements
• any documentation useful for the purposes of the preliminary and supplementary tests
