Application for external candidates 'Baccalaureate Examination

External (private) candidates must apply via the Services Portal.
Those who have already been admitted to the annual baccalaureate examination (CAPES), but have not passed it, may apply as external candidates to the above-mentioned Service.

Each candidate may submit a single application indicating up to three educational institutions where they intend to sit the examination.

• Citizens/students who are at least 19 years old in the calendar year in which the examination is to be taken
• Citizens/students in possession of a secondary school diploma
• Students who, after attending the annual course for the Matura Examination (CAPES), have already been admitted to the Matura Examination, but have not passed it, may submit an application

Applications may be submitted by:

• External candidates
• External candidates (late applications for documented reasons)
• Students withdrawn after 2 February 2026 and before 15 March 2026 (external candidates)

The application must be submitted ONLINE.
