Application for external candidates for the vocational qualification examination

The general indications and deadlines for submitting applications are contained in Circular no. 839620 of 08/11/2024.

Private candidates wishing to take the professional qualification examination must apply directly to the training venues. If there are several examination venues that run homologous courses, the application must be submitted to the one identified in the relevant circular.

Private candidates must present the training credits and skills acquired in their training pathway; on the basis of these, they must take one or more preliminary and supplementary examinations, which are normally held in the second half of April, formulated by a special Commission set up at each training Institution exam venue after assessing the curriculum presented by the candidates themselves.

Applicants aged 18 and over

Applications may be submitted by

• candidates aged 18 or over
• candidates who have completed their first cycle secondary school course or a certificate of completion if prior to 2005

The application must be made using the appropriate form

• curriculum vitae in Europass format
• any useful documentation to attest what is shown in the curriculum vitae for the purposes of the preliminary and supplementary tests
