Description

GUIDO TOSI, FRANCO PERCO, RENZO VIDESOTT

Conservation Biology is the scientific discipline dedicated to the study, maintenance and reconstruction of stable conditions for animal and plant populations in the context of ecosystems. Conservation is therefore a discipline born out of the vast crisis that is endangering biodiversity, aiming to find solutions to safeguard nature in the constant awareness of man's presence.

In outlining the theoretical and practical framework of Fauna Conservation, the contribution of Guido Tosi (Busto Arsizio, 1949 - Formazza, 2011), Franco Perco (Trieste, 1939 - Trieste, 2022) and Renzo Videsott (Trento, 1904 - Turin, 1974), scholars who also have an important legacy for the Trentino region, was essential.

To these three great names, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park would like to dedicate three meetings aimed at deepening their technical, human and social legacy, with the prospects and also the responsibilities that it entrusts to us. Three appointments in which, thanks to the contribution of numerous experts, we will have the opportunity to remember, learn more about and discuss the work of these historic protagonists in the safeguarding of fauna in Italy.

Live streaming on the Park's Facebook and YouTube profiles will be provided for all the events.
