Description
In 1986 the Autonomous Province of Trento promulgated Provincial Law 14/1986 'Rules for the protection of biotopes of significant environmental, cultural and scientific interest'. The new regulations provide the tools for the establishment and protection of provincial biotopes, identified by the Provincial Urban Plan, which is approved by Provincial Law 7/1987.
With Provincial Law 11/2007 'Government of the Forest and Mountain Territory, Watercourses and Protected Areas', the name 'Provincial Biotope' was changed to 'Provincial Nature Reserve', also including the Tre Cime del Monte Bondone Integral Reserve and the Cornapiana di Brentonico and Campobrun Guided Reserves, already established by regional or provincial provisions.
The list below shows the references of the resolutions establishing and modifying the provincial nature reserves.
