Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Forestry based on the Naturalistic Forest Management Plan, integrated with prescriptions of the Scientific Committee for Protected Areas.
• Circulation of motor vehicles for forestry activities, except for time and place prescriptions to protect breeding species.
• Use of water for extinguishing forest fires.
• Interventions necessary for the cultural and scientific use, protection, conservation, renaturalisation and bio-ecological/environmental improvement of the territory defined by an enhancement plan and subject to authorisation by the provincial service responsible for protected areas.

• Modify or alter the elements of the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Deposit waste or materials, operate excavations, change cultivation, reclaim or drain the land.
• Cultivating quarries and peat bogs, and revoking existing authorisations.
• Activities that may lead to disturbance or modification of ecological values.
• Introducing, removing or damaging flora and fungi, except for scientific and conservation reasons with prior authorisation.
• Killing, injuring, capturing, disturbing, releasing or taking animal species, except for specific reasons.
• Pumping waste water or altering the characteristics of the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Use pesticides or herbicides, except to protect public health.
• Crossing the area with overhead power lines or telephone lines.
• Making disturbing sounds, noises and lights and driving vehicles.
• Camping, lighting fires, letting dogs or other pets roam.
• Entering the protected area off marked trails, except for owners/tenants or for scientific/surveillance/management activities.
• Setting up fences, except those provided for in the scientific protection plan.
• Bathing and use of watercraft, except for authorised scientific research.
• Carrying out recreational and/or sporting activities.
