Description
In the remote Zanskar valley in the Himalayas, people depend on glaciers that used to provide the amount of water they needed to live in the spring. Today, they build artificial glaciers to adapt to ongoing climate change and help recharge the water table.

At the library it is possible to visit the photographic exhibition "The Ice Builders" documenting the "Ice Stupa Zanskar" project, a journey of places, faces and images to discover at first hand the effects of the climate crisis that is affecting the entire planet. An exhibition by Andrea Zatta, Fabio Saitto and Francesco Clerici curated by the Trentino for Tibet odv Association. In collaboration with Montura.
