Description
This is the third meeting of the cycle"Glacier Days" organised by the Cabina di regia delle aree protette e dei ghiacciai.
The meeting, on the theme "History in the glaciers", will be held on 7 September 2023 in the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park.
The meeting will address the theme of the explorations of the glacial world through the eyes of the historian, the geologist and the biologist, and finally the archaeologist, who, precisely with the retreat of the ice, recovers elements pertaining to the memory of these places.
The meeting is organised in the form of an easy hike from Passo Rolle to Baita Segantini, right opposite the Travignolo Glacier. In the afternoon, transfer to Paneveggio for lunch, a concluding speech and the inauguration of the renovated "Suona Foresta" Visitor Centre.

9.30 a.m. - Meeting at Passo Rolle (at the Information Point) and departure of the excursion accompanied by experts and Park personnel. During the walk, speeches by:
