Updating instrumentation and measurement techniques for calibration of hydrometric network sensors

The intervention includes the acquisition of the following instrumentation and software

1. mobile station for measurements along watercourses
2. radio-controlled vessel for ADCP Sontek (Q-boat 1800);
3. Teledyne Marine high speed riverboat with ADCP Sontek adapter;
4. AutoSalt salt dilution flow measurement system;
5. Solitax water turbidity measuring system;
6. number 3 2-in-1 field tablets/pc for live display of measurements taken.

Technologically upgrade the instrumentation and measurement techniques for calibrating the sensors of the hydrometric monitoring network, which is of primary importance for implementing hydraulic forecasting models and ultimately for correctly managing the territory during extreme events.

The project is co-financed 40% by the European Union - European Regional Development Fund, 42% by the Italian State - National Revolving Fund and the remaining 18% by the Autonomous Province of Trento.
