In-service training and professional development for a fair and quality school

In implementing the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) 2021-2027 Programme of the Autonomous Province of Trento, IPRASE has devised two articulated projects aimed at adopting contemporary approaches to teaching, learning and governance of education and training systems in line with the latest innovations in the pedagogical-didactic field, and in order to support schools in responding to the evolving educational demand.

The two Projects, approved by resolution 2157 of 01 December 2023, operate in close complementarity, the thematic areas of reference are similar, but with different focuses and specifications:

• Project No. 1: aspects of innovation and research;
• Project No. 2: in-service training and promotion of school staff development.

Project No. 2
In-service training and professional development for a fair and quality school.

Aimed at all school and training institutions in the Autonomous Province of Trento, it envisages:

• Promotion of system and co-constructionactions with school Institutions and Networks of schools;
• Raising the quality levels of school staff performance;
• Differentiation and qualification of training initiatives in relation to the different target groups operating in the Trentino school and training system.

In particular, in-presence, synchronous and asynchronous distance and blended training activities will be promoted.

In order to support the management of the two aforementioned projects, the following determinations were approved:

- Determination no. 7750 dated 19/07/2024 approving the following models: 1) Application Form; 2) Application Form following membership; 3) Application Form; 4) Format of ESF+_PRG report. 1 RESEARCH; 5) Format report ESF+_PRG. 2 TRAINING; 6) Timesheet ESF+_PRG. 1 RESEARCH; 7) Timesheet ESF+_PRG. 2 TRAINING.
These forms must be used for the applications for membership and enrolment and for the report and timesheet concerning assignments to external experts.

- Determination no. 3133 dated 28/03/2024 approving the following models to be used by IPRASE for the management of the projects: a) "Request for cash requirements"; b) "Certificate of attendance".

The expected result is to increase the levels of effectiveness and quality of performance of school staff, in particular:

• Strengthened cultural focus on in-service digital training;
• Strengthening of multilingual and multicultural training;
• Raising the degree of quality, effectiveness and flexibility of the education system;
• Improvement of inclusive processes and strategies to combat school drop-out;
• Enhancement of interventions for the formation of aware, active, forward-looking future citizens;
• Promotion of educational success and improvement of guidance and assessment actions.

Initiative implemented under the ESF+ 2021-2027 Programme of the Autonomous Province of Trento, with co-financing from the European Union - European Social Fund plus (40%), the Italian State (42%) and the Autonomous Province of Trento (18%).
