Responsibilities and functions
IPRASE promotes and implements actions aimed at research, experimentation, documentation, study and in-depth study of educational and training issues and initiatives to support educational innovation and school autonomy. The Institute's lines of work originate and develop through models of sharing and cooperation with the educational professions, local communities, the business world and the professions. The Institute works in concert with schools for the updating and continuous training of teachers, managers, administrative, technical, auxiliary and educator personnel of provincial educational institutions. IPRASE explores new emerging issues, deals with the observation and analysis of teaching practices, and prepares evaluation paths on the quality of students' learning through specific research projects. The Institute collects and makes available documentation on teaching and learning processes as well as the results of surveys to foster knowledge, sharing and dissemination of effective practices.
