General information

The emerging challenges for the Alpine area require a strengthening of the multi-level governance and institutional capacities of public authorities and other actors involved in the EUSALP Alpine Region Macro-Regional Strategy.

The 4Support EUSALP project aims to support the governance of the EUSALP Strategy by strengthening the integrated coordination of its four key components: the Secretariat (ETS), the 2026, 2027, 2028 Presidencies, theAction Groups and the Youth Council.

The initiative follows on from the results of the "Support EUSALP" project, consolidating transnational cooperation between twelve partners from five Alpine countries (Italy, Austria, France, Germany and Slovenia).

The Autonomous Province of Trento actively participates in all nine EUSALP Action Groups and, through the Service for Linguistic Minorities and External Relations, coordinates the Action Group 3 (Labour Market, Education and Training)whose activities are directly supported by the 4Support EUSALP project.

Goals

  • develop solutions to improve cooperation within EUSALP governance;
  • topromote and implement knowledge transfer, exchange and capitalisation activities that address the main governance issues and involve the main stakeholders of the Alpine Region; and
  • increase collaboration between Action Groups on priorities of strategic and macro-regional relevance;
  • facilitate the implementation of the EUSALP Action Plan and Action Groups' work plans;
  • increase the visibility and involvement of key actors in the EUSALP Strategy.
