Description
A site of great importance for the presence of silver fir forests, in regression throughout the Alpine chain.
In the different sites surveyed, different associations of silver fir have developed.
The site is of major national and/or provincial interest for the presence and reproduction of endangered animal species, important glacial relicts, exclusive and/or typical of the Alps.
Habitats of special interest not included in Annex I of Directive 92/43/EEC are present: Calamagrosti - Abietetum.
