Description
Exceptional complex of peat bogs of different types, distributed on a wooded slope, with very rare and regressing flora and vegetation in the entire Alpine range.
Excellent conservation status.
This is a vitally important biotope for the reproduction of many species of amphibians and reptiles, as well as being of ornithological interest due to the presence of species typical of the Alpine avifauna.
Presence of Annex II invertebrates indicating good naturalness of running waters.
Habitats of special interest not included in Annex I of Directive 92/43/EEC are present, in particular: Caricion fuscae (10%).
