Description
A site of extraordinary floristic interest due to the exceptional concentration of endemic species, known throughout Europe and a must for botanical excursions.
Wild and scarcely anthropised environments are still frequent.
The site is of relevant national and/or provincial interest for the presence and reproduction of endangered animal species, important glacial relicts, exclusive and/or typical of the Alps.
Habitats of special interest not included in Annex I of Directive 92/43/EEC are present: Abieteti (10%), Sottoroccia (1%).
