Description
This is Primiero's main peat bog, which is home to a fair number of rare species.
It is a vitally important biotope for the reproduction of many species of amphibians and reptiles.
Presence of Annex II invertebrates indicating good naturalness of running waters.
Habitats of special interest not included in Annex I of Directive 92/43/EEC are present, in particular: Caricetalia fuscae (10%).
