Description
An example of limestone mountains with alpine flora rich in rare and endemic species on the ridges and extensive forests continuously covering the slopes.
The site is of relevant national and/or provincial interest for the presence and reproduction of endangered animal species, important glacial relicts, exclusive and/or typical of the Alps.
Habitats of special interest not included in Annex I of Directive 92/43/EEC are present, in particular Adenostylo glabrae - Abietetum.
