Description
Of particular floristic and vegetational interest are the points of contact between the dolomite and the basalts, where a number of rare entities are found. Otherwise, it is a significant example of a dolomite massif.
The site is of significant national and/or provincial interest for the presence and reproduction of endangered animal species, important glacial relicts, exclusive and/or typical of the Alps.
