Description
Classic alpine environment on silica, generally little anthropised and basically intact. In addition, there is a good contingent of floristic rarities.
The site is of relevant national and/or provincial interest for the presence and reproduction of endangered animal species, important glacial relicts, exclusive and/or typical of the Alps.
High merits linked to the marked naturalness of most of the sectors of the area, which is still very little man-made, except for some areas affected by ski facilities.
Remarkable number of floristic rarities and 'classic' plant landscapes of the alpine environment on siliceous substrate. Presence of invertebrate forest indicators with good natural characteristics.
Habitats of particular interest according to Directive 92/43/EEC are present, particularly those relating to high-altitude, herbaceous and rocky formations.
