Description
The vegetation consists of dry steppe-like grasslands, progressively invaded by hazel bushes, barberry and other shrub species. At the base of the slope, there are a few nuclei of deciduous woods of linden and sycamore maple.
Special Area of Conservation (SAC)
It includes a vast stretch of the left orographic slope of the Val di Sole, above the village of Arnago, mainly exposed to the South-West; the substratum is siliceous in nature.
The interest of the site is due to the presence of steppe-type pastures on a thermally favoured ridge.
