Responsibilities and functions
the laboratory is authorised by the Ministry of Public Works with decree no. 22983 of 18/12/1982 and subsequent updates to carry out tests and issue certificates valid pursuant to law 1086/71.
The laboratory has a wide range of equipment, constantly updated, calibrated and verified, to perform various types of tests on concrete, steel, bituminous conglomerates and other construction materials, both in the laboratory and on site. The laboratory is also able to perform compression load tests on micropiles. The activity carried out is a public utility service aimed at all operators in the construction sector (works managers, testers, companies), as well as being available to agencies, public administrations and other provincial offices.
