Responsibilities and functions
The Laboratory carries out tests relating to classical geotechnics and road geotechnics; these can be divided into identification and classification tests, mechanical strength and deformability tests, permeability tests and others.
The validity of the test results is guaranteed primarily by qualified staff, the calibration of instruments, the maintenance of equipment and the application of nationally and internationally recognised test methods; it is also ensured by the application of the procedures set out in the quality management system and the requirements of the Quality Manual.
