Responsibilities and functions
Tests belonging to classical geotechnics and road geotechnics are performed in the Laboratory; they can be divided into recognition and classification tests, mechanical strength and deformability tests, permeability tests and others.
The validity of the test results is mainly guaranteed by qualified personnel, calibration of instruments, maintenance of equipment and the application of nationally and internationally recognised test methods; it is also ensured by the application of quality management procedures and the requirements of the Quality Manual.
