   Go-ahead for the agreement between the Province and Famas System Spa, 20 jobs and 100,000 euro annual induced income

   The Provincial Council of Trento approved, on the proposal of the vice-president and councillor for economic development, work, family, university and research, Achille Spinelli, the negotiation agreement between the company Famas System Spa, the Autonomous Province of Trento and the trade unions Fiom Cgil, Fim Cisl and Uilm of Trentino. The text provides for a revision of the negotiation agreement originally stipulated on 4 December 2017 with the company Movalia Srl, now merged by Famas System. With the amendment, employment commitments and those relating to local spillovers are redefined.
   "With this agreement we update the terms of the previous one signed in 2017, guaranteeing the continuity of the initiative and the preservation of jobs in the territory," commented Vice-President Spinelli.

   Chaffinch, green light for hunting under derogation for the 2025/2026 hunting season

   With a view to the 2025/2026 hunting season, the provincial council today approved a resolution authorising the taking of chaffinches (Fringilla coelebs) by way of derogation, in compliance with the European directive and the provincial hunting law. The decision landed on the executive benches at the proposal of the provincial councillor for forests, hunting and fishing, Roberto Failoni, and was also shared by other Italian regions such as Lombardy and Liguria.

   Ciclovia del Garda: sections currently practicable in Trentino

   As of 21 March 2025, a further section of the Garda Cycle Route, a work financed by the National Tourist Cycle Route System, is open to the public. It is a route of about 1 km, which makes it possible to reach the Sperone locality from the municipality of Riva del Garda.

   Meteotrentino: intense heat at the weekend. Temperature zero at 5,000 metres

   After a rather cool month of July, from today - Friday - and especially at the weekend, the influx of very warm air will lead to a marked increase in temperatures. The zero temperature will rise to around 5,000 metres. This is announced by Meteotrentino. In the lower and less windy valley floors, maximum temperatures may locally reach or exceed 35 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will in some cases be above 20 degrees Celsius, resulting in so-called tropical nights.
