As of Monday 23 June, library users will once again be able to access documents on loan from the entire Trentino Library System. Authorised by the Provincial Council with a measure of 13 June, in fact, interlibrary loan, a document lending service that takes place, at the request of the user, between the library that owns the resource and the one attended or referred to. The service responds to the information needs of the Trentino community, allowing equal access to knowledge, information, study and reading to all library users in the province, regardless of where they live.
The office in charge of the Trentino Library System, with the collaboration of APAC, is preparing the documents to launch an above-threshold tender, in order to guarantee continuity of the Service, from 2026 for a duration of four years.
