His extraordinary success is a source of joy and pride for the whole of Trentino'. These are the words of the President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, commenting on the gold medal won by the Trentino athlete in the five-kilometre road race at the World Transplant Games 2025, the Olympics reserved for transplanted athletes, currently taking place in Dresden.
"His dedication is an example for all young people, who can find in sport an opportunity for growth and affirmation, even in the face of difficulties. We are proud of an athlete who, success after success, continues to carry Trentino's flag high in the world,' added the provincial councillor for sport, Mattia Gottardi.
Next Friday, 22 August, Dalvai will return to the field to compete in the 1,500 metre track event.
