'These are days of great satisfaction for Italian and also Trentino sport. Thanks to the results of Annika Sieff, gold medallist at the World Junior Championships in the Nordic combined, and Fabiana Carpella, gold medallist at the World Youth Championships in the biathlon relay, we can once again share a feeling of pride and look forward to the 2026 Winter Olympics with optimism. Their results fill the Trentino community with satisfaction and represent an achievement achieved through talent but also great commitment. From these athletes, who have established themselves at an international level with these results, comes an example for many young people who choose sport and practise it with determination and a spirit of sacrifice.'
