Focus on the grape harvest and fruit picking after the fire that affected the multi-material deposit in the Ischia Podetti landfill area. The issue was addressed during the operational meeting - attended by the Autonomous Province of Trento's Agriculture Councillor - with representatives from the Civil Protection Department, the Agriculture Service, Appa, the Provincial Board for Health Services, the Edmund Mach Foundation, representatives of producers and wineries, and the Municipality of Trento. Operations in the fields will continue as normal, guaranteeing the safety of the harvest workers. The foliage of the vines has sheltered the bunches, while the apples are being processed and transported before packing by water: washing the fruit is in fact a guarantee of healthiness. Meanwhile, analyses are being carried out on soil, fruit and vegetable products in the area affected by the cloud caused by the flames in recent hours: the results are expected in the next few days.
