Coronavirus, from the bulletin of Thursday 29 September 2022

Coronavirus: today's report from the Provincial Health Services Agency reports no deaths. There are 658 new cases.
Of these, 5 were detected at the molecular level (out of 160 tests carried out) and 653 at the antigenic level (out of 2346 tests carried out). The molecular then confirms 1 positivity detected in recent days by rapid tests. The number of patients admitted is 53, 3 of whom are in intensive care. Five new admissions and 11 discharges were recorded yesterday.

Welcome to the Euregio! Also in minority languages the signs to be placed in the municipalities concerned

"Euregio Municipalities Cooperation" is a project covering various areas of cooperation between the local authorities of the three territories. In order to deepen some aspects on the shared projects and future cooperation actions among the Euregio municipalities, a meeting of the presidents of the consortia of the municipalities of the three territories took place today in Sèn Jan/San Giovanni di Fassa on the sidelines of the EGTC Council meeting. In the same meeting of the EGTC, with a view to enhancing the role of local authorities within the Euregio context, the graphic design of the welcome signs in the Euregio was approved, in order to ensure their compliance with the provisions envisaged in the individual territories, bearing in mind the specificities of the individual linguistic minorities.
The graphics represent a model that can be adapted to the individual needs of the municipalities according to their territorial location. After the approval of the respective provincial administrations, the municipalities will be free to install the signs.
This project also saw the cooperation of the Consortia of Municipalities of the Euregio, which made it possible to concretise the placement of a welcome sign, highlighting any existing twinning, at the entrance of all the municipalities that expressly requested it in 2021.

Permanent Population and Housing Census - 2022

From 30 September to 22 December 2022, the new edition of the permanent Census of Population and Housing will take place, involving, as every year, only a representative sample of households.
Beginning in 2018, the National Institute of Statistics (Istat) launched the new season of permanent censuses of population and economic units, which sees the implementation of annual and multi-year surveys. For the population, the first four-year cycle ended in 2021 and now the five-year census period 2022-2026 begins.
In Trentino, the survey, provided for by European Regulation no. 763/2008 and included in the National Statistical Programme, is conducted by ISTAT in collaboration with the Institute for Statistics of the Province of Trento (ISPAT).
The reference date of the survey is 2 October 2022.

The Trentino Bibliographic Catalogue (CBT) has changed the graphics on its home page. This was announced by the Trentino Library System Office (SBT) - Cultural Activities and Production Service. The aim of this intervention is to make it clearer, also through a common graphic design, that from any portal you access the CBT - Trentino Bibliographic Catalogue - you can search for resources physically held by all 184 libraries of the Trentino Library System, and access other bibliographic services such as databases, electronic resources and scientific journal articles. The new definition "Discovery" also highlights the increased potential of the CBT - Trentino Bibliographic Catalogue.

Recruitment of school staff: today's meeting between the heads of the Education Department and the trade unions

Meeting this afternoon between the head of the Department of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Province of Trento and trade union representatives to take stock of the school year that has just begun. The meeting was attended by the director general of the Education and Culture Department, Roberto Ceccato, the director of the Recruitment and School Personnel Service, Francesca Mussino, the director of the Education Service, Monica Zambotti, and the director of the Competitions and Recruitment Office for School Personnel, Roberto Giancotti.
Among the topics discussed, particular attention was paid to the issue of recruitment of teaching staff. Satisfaction was also expressed by Education, University and Culture Councillor Mirko Bisesti, who said in commenting on the data: 'these numbers confirm the Administration's efforts to guarantee the quality of the school service. We have shortened the appointment time and ensured the smoothest possible start to the year'.
