Coronavirus, from the bulletin of Friday 30 September 2022

Coronavirus: today's report from the Provincial Health Services Agency reports no deaths. There are 587 new cases. Of these, 5 were detected at the molecular level (out of 49 tests carried out) and 582 at the antigenic level (out of 2,306 tests carried out). The molecular then confirmed 2 positives intercepted in recent days by rapid tests. There are 51 patients admitted, 4 of whom are in intensive care. Yesterday there were 9 new admissions and 11 discharges.

Grant awarded to the municipality of Livo for the new multi-service centre

A contribution of 171,000 euro to the municipality of Livo: this has been granted by the Provincial Council, at the proposal of President Maurizio Fugatti, for the 'Realisation of new multi-service facilities at the former primary school in Varollo'. The contribution granted is equal to 95 per cent of the admitted expenditure. The disbursement will be made through Cassa del Trentino.

Increases and effects on care services, Segnana met with U.P.I.P.A and Spes

The topic of rising energy tariffs and the inflation triggered by the increase in the cost of materials and services - with the effects that have also been generated in the area of RSAs - was the subject of the meeting held this morning at the Province building between the Health Councillor Stefania Segnana and representatives of U.P.I.P.A and Spes.
The meeting was also attended by the general manager of the Health and Social Policies Department, Giancarlo Ruscitti, and the general manager of Umst for innovation in the energy and telecommunications sectors, Paolo Simonetti. During the meeting, they discussed the rising costs that the facilities are incurring and how to cope with a complex and evolving situation. The discussion focused in particular on the possibilities to intervene - also with dedicated resources and the support of the Province - to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and the organisation of care and assistance services.
