North-East Foundation Report 2022. Councillor Spinelli: 'Growth, Province at the side of businesses'.

"We believe that growth is a factor on which to focus, that it is the engine of our future, and for this reason we will work with conviction to implement the steps envisaged by the NRP, all the more so for their declination in the context of a digital ecological transition". These were the words of provincial councillor for economic development, research and work Achille Spinelli, speaking at the presentation of the Fondazione Nord Est 2022 Report entitled 'The future is passing - Who is ready and who is not', during an event organised by Confindustria Trento and Assoimprenditori Bolzano at the Cantina Rotari winery in San Michele all'Adige. "To the companies that invest in innovation, new technologies, and high value-added production," added Spinelli, "we ask them to believe in the tools that public bodies, and among these more than others the Province of Trento, make available to support innovation and the growth of technologies, especially in this turbulent phase. We look to the future, not to predict it but to be ready to face it in the best way possible'.

It is about the Academy of Sports Volunteering and the path to raise awareness of Olympic Values in schools, which represent the first proposals launched in view of the four-year Olympic period, which will lead us to the 2026 Games in Milan-Cortina, where Trentino will be the absolute protagonist from the organisational point of view through the three locations of Predazzo, Lago di Tesero and Miola di Piné.
Presenting this project, created to promote the extraordinary values of sport and the key role of the people who gravitate around the events, were the President of the Trento CONI, Paola Mora, the Councillor for Education, Universities and Culture of the Province of Trento, Mirko Bisesti, and the School Superintendent, Viviana Sbardella, the provincial coordinator for physical and sports education Giuseppe Cosmi, the representative of the Provincial Coordination for the 2026 Olympics Massimo Bernardoni, the commander of the Fiamme Gialle ski group Captain Gianluigi Mariani and the Coni Sports School teacher Francesco Alberti.

Province, information webinar on new modalities for agile working

More than 1,200 provincial employees logged on yesterday to the informative webinar on the new agile working arrangements organised by the Department of Organisation, Personnel and General Affairs and the Trentino School of Management. It was an opportunity to illustrate the new organisational arrangements linked to the systematic introduction of agile work on the basis of the agreement signed in September with the trade unions, the implementation modalities of which are now in the process of being agreed.
When fully implemented, the agreement will be applicable from December 2022 to all workers in the non-managerial area who carry out activities that can be performed remotely (thus excluding certain categories: firefighters, foresters, auxiliary service workers.), potentially around 2,200 people (60%). In the last 2 years (2021 and 2022), the percentage of agile workers using 'emergency agile work' has fluctuated between 63% and 60%.
The highlights of this process of sustainable and quality development were illustrated by the councillor for economic development Achille Spinelli, the general manager of the Organisation, Personnel and General Affairs Department Luca Comper, and the deputy manager of the Personnel Service Maria D'Ippoliti. The webinar concluded with a speech by Professor Mariano Corso of the Milan Polytechnic aimed at returning the results of the survey conducted on agile working among Province employees.
Councillor Achille Spinelli explained how 'following the pandemic experience and the new needs to which the Autonomous Province of Trento must also respond, both with regard to its own employees and to its stakeholders, the response to these demands cannot disregard an increasingly agile and flexible organisation of the public administration. The new regulations envisage that agile work is aimed at ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in achieving the administration's objectives, but also that, thanks to the elements of flexibility, it is a particularly suitable tool for managing individual situations of fragility and for facilitating the reconciliation of work/life times. The perspective is clearly somewhat different from physical face-to-face work. The horizon is goal-oriented and no longer the presence of the worker in the workplace. It is a gradual transition that will have to be evaluated step by step'.
