The Youth Press Agency, together with a delegation of young people and researchers, is following COP27, which takes place from 7 to 18 November 2022, directly from Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
As every year, there will be a live connection with Italian school students and all interested people to share the news of the Conference and answer questions and curiosities on the climate emergency. A real exercise in global citizenship and climate education.
Participating in the videoconference will be Roberto Barbiero, climatologist of the Provincial Agency for Environmental Protection (APPA), Elisa Calliari (Italian delegation to COP27), Sara Segantini, writer and co-founder of Fridays for Future Italia and Jacopo Bencini, policy advisor of the Italian Climate Network. The meeting will be moderated by Paulo Lima, one of the project coordinators. The initiative is part of the climate education and planetary citizenship project "Youth Conferences on Climate in Trentino", promoted by the Provincial Agency for the Protection of the Environment and implemented by Viracao&Jangada in collaboration with the Jean Monnet European Centre Trento of the University of Trento.
