   Segnana: utmost attention to needs and quality of life, some clarifications in response to Anffas

   In response to the Anffas note circulated regarding the document drawn up at provincial level on the subject of the costs of social welfare services for persons with disabilities, councillor Stefania Segnana clarifies the picture and emphasises the potential of the tool. "The analysis conducted, which led to the formulation of the document, constitutes - underlines Councillor Segnana - an opportunity of particular relevance, in its uniqueness, and is the result of elaborations carried out by experts, with the involvement of the services and the evaluation of the profiles of persons with disabilities currently attending day and residential services. The document was approved by both the Social Planning Committee and the Council of Local Autonomies, and the Province's objective is to guarantee uniformity throughout the territory, also responding to the needs of the various organisations active in the Province in the field of disability, also taking into account the difficulties of the smaller ones'.

   Ischia, yesterday at the meeting with Musumeci also the technicians of the Autonomous Province of Trento

   The Minister for Civil Protection and Sea Policies, Sebastiano Musumeci, together with the Extraordinary Commissioner Giovanni Legnini and the Head of the National Civil Protection Department, Fabrizio Curcio, met yesterday in Casamicciola Terme, on the island of Ischia, with the technicians involved in surveying the damage to the buildings affected by the hydrogeological disaster that struck the island in November 2022. These technicians also include 14 employees of the Autonomous Province of Trento, who over the past three weeks have been taking turns in the activities connected with surveying the damage and verifying the fitness of the buildings and infrastructures affected. The contingent currently present in Ischia is expected to return to Trentino in the next few days. The minister, who went to Ischia for a discussion with the local authorities and the Commissioner on the activities carried out and those underway, addressed words of gratitude to the personnel working on the island.

   "Monitor Euregio 2022" at the centre of the last meeting in March at Casa Moggioli

   Every two years, the Euregio conducts a statistical survey on the population of the three territories, called 'Monitor Euregio', to find out to what extent the population is familiar with the Euregio and how often and through which sources they are informed about it. The research will be presented at Casa Moggioli next Tuesday 21 March at 6 p.m. by the two authors, both professors at the University of Innsbruck, Christian Traweger and Günther Pallaver.
   The event, the last appointment in this Euregio Tuesday cycle, will be held in two languages, Italian and German.
   Admission is free, subject to availability, and copies of the presentation will be distributed to participants at the end of the meeting.

    Recovery and restoration of walls in traditional terraced farming systems, call for bids 2023 approved

    Investments are still being made in the redevelopment of historical settlements and the landscape. With a measure proposed by Vice-President and Councillor for the Environment and Town Planning Mario Tonina, the Provincial Council has approved the 2023 call for proposals, which provides grants for the recovery and restoration of masonry in traditional terraced agricultural systems.
    "The landscape," Tonina points out, "is an integral part of the quality that the territory expresses and is therefore of considerable value for those who live in Trentino but also for those who choose it as their holiday destination. Given the positive experience of the previous calls for proposals, it is important to continue to ensure a contribution to those who are committed to the maintenance and enhancement of this heritage of the entire community. The Province is committed to this sector and the system of activities put in place also received significant recognition at national level a few days ago'.
