In response to the Anffas note circulated regarding the document drawn up at provincial level on the subject of the costs of social welfare services for persons with disabilities, councillor Stefania Segnana clarifies the picture and emphasises the potential of the tool. "The analysis conducted, which led to the formulation of the document, constitutes - underlines Councillor Segnana - an opportunity of particular relevance, in its uniqueness, and is the result of elaborations carried out by experts, with the involvement of the services and the evaluation of the profiles of persons with disabilities currently attending day and residential services. The document was approved by both the Social Planning Committee and the Council of Local Autonomies, and the Province's objective is to guarantee uniformity throughout the territory, also responding to the needs of the various organisations active in the Province in the field of disability, also taking into account the difficulties of the smaller ones'.
