European projects can be defined as "a single complex work of limited duration aimed at producing a specific result through interrelated activities involving the deployment of resources and a commitment of costs and which must be realised within certain time limits".
In other words, projects are a set of activities, means and investments that, in a given place and for a given period of time, contribute to the achievement of certain objectives. Through projects, programmes find concrete realisation.
