The Provincial Council has adopted the 'Pizzaiolo' and 'Aiuto pizzaiolo' (Pizzaiolo Assistant) professional qualification profile. The measure is a further step forward in the provincial system of skills certification and falls within the scope of the provincial legislation on 'Interventions to promote lifelong learning and skills certification'.
The profile was defined in collaboration with the Association of Hoteliers and Tourist Enterprises of the Province of Trento (ASAT) and with the Association of Trentino Restaurateurs, as a result of a targeted in-depth study with the professionals designated by the same Associations, in order to support the needs relating to the qualification of professional skills, as well as to consolidate the quality of the tourism offer.
The Provincial Councillor for Education, Universities and Culture Mirko Bisesti, who proposed the relevant resolution, expresses his satisfaction for this further course "which qualifies the educational offer of the Trentino system, enhancing the opportunities for students for their professional affirmation, as well as contributing to the growth of the Trentino tourism and hospitality sector".
