   Lugo flooding. Visit by President Mattarella, who also thanks Trentino operators

   'Thank you for your commitment in favour of the population affected by the flood'. This is how the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella addressed the delegation of Trentino Civil Protection workers who met him this afternoon in Lugo. The Romagna town became one of the stops on the head of state's trip to the areas of Romagna hit by the bad weather. It was a real crowd bath for Mattarella. Hundreds of people applauded and cheered him in Piazza Cavour, where he was welcomed by the mayor Davide Ranalli before visiting the Rossini theatre, which was severely damaged by the bad weather. 'It has never happened in history that a president of the Republic has visited Lugo, so we feel the support at a difficult time for our communities,' Ranalli commented. The Lugo centre has been 'adopted' by the Trentino Civil Defence: for this reason, the municipality asked for a representative of the Risk Prevention Service and CUE (with manager Stefano Fait) and of the volunteers to be present at the appointment, with Borgo Valsugana Volunteer Fire Brigade foreman Daniel Capraro and Adamello fire chief Ilario Righi. "It was a great emotion, but our commitment does not stop. In Lugo as in Alfonsine (Ravenna)," were their words.

   Interreg Dialog Project Final Event

   To celebrate the 4 years of the Interreg Dialog project and the results achieved, the lead partner, European Union Resources and Territorial Development Office of UMST Coordination of Local Authorities, Territorial and Mountain Policies, has organised a final dissemination event on 9 June 2023 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., at Sala belli, Piazza Dante 15, Trento.

   During the event, the results and intellectual outputs of the project such as the guidelines for the implementation of participatory processes and the model of participation methods will be presented.
   The meeting will be attended by the transnational project partners, the General Secretariat of Interreg Europe, policy makers and local stakeholders involved in the project.
