Rail bypass: some clarifications on controls

We follow up on the news that appeared in the press in relation to the control activities that have been carried out in Trento in recent days by APPA technicians and personnel from the NOE Carabinieri Corps inside the railway bypass construction site.
The provincial and municipal administrations confirm the assiduous presence of the control bodies at the construction site of this very important work.
These activities, together with the work carried out by the Observatory, guarantee a high level of vigilance on the progress of the work, on which the prerogatives of other institutions with respect to possible environmental violations obviously remain firm.

Ethnographic Museums of Trentino, the call for funding approved

The Provincial Council, at the proposal of Culture Councillor Mirko Bisesti, has approved a call for proposals to support specific projects proposed by ethnographic museums included in the list of museums recognised by the Autonomous Province of Trento.
"This latest step completes the process undertaken in November 2022, with the formal recognition of the territory's ethnographic museums as an integral part of the Trentino museum offer, intended for local communities, schools and tourism" - comments the councillor. "Territorial museums will thus be able, for the first time, to access resources that will enhance their activities. A first step, towards an entirely new scenario in the protection and management of local cultures, which puts Trentino at the forefront, nationally and elsewhere, of legislative provisions in the field of ethnographic museography,' Bisesti further emphasised.

Trentino Community Cooperative, there is the mark

A collective trademark to identify community cooperatives and their offerings, recognising the important work carried out "with and for" the community of reference. It is with these objectives in mind that the 'Cooperativa di Comunità Trentino' collective mark has been approved by the Provincial Council at the proposal of Vice-President Mario Tonina.
"It is a tool with which we intend to give due recognition to those cooperatives that possess certain characteristics and whose work in the area contributes in an important and continuous way to raising the quality of their communities," Tonina explains.
The trademark - created within the framework of an ideas competition promoted by the provincial administration at the Istituto Arti Grafiche Artigianelli in Trento - will be granted free of charge by the Autonomous Province of Trento to all community cooperatives recognised under Regional Law no. 1 of 31 January 2022 and registered in the provincial register of cooperative bodies.

Weather, developments for the next few days

After the strong thunderstorms of the last two days, temperatures have dropped but the atmosphere is still unstable at times as northern Italy is on the edge of an African promontory. Trentino, too, therefore remains vulnerable to unstable Atlantic flows at times and this weather regime does not look set to change until at least the middle of next week.
Today, in the hottest hours and especially on the northern mountains, some showers or thunderstorms will be possible while in the evening and next night the precipitation may be more widespread and, especially on the southern sectors, showers or thunderstorms may occur.
More instability with possible strong thunderstorms, even of hail character, is expected on Friday and Saturday while on Sunday the weather will be more stable.

Bad weather, the provincial road situation at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday 20 July 2023

The thunderstorm that occurred late yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 19 July, caused a number of trees to crash and branches to fall onto the roadbed.
Operations to cut and remove the trees from the roadway began yesterday evening after the event and are continuing today.
Overall, at the moment, there are no critical issues along the main road network, except for the closure to transit for heavy vehicles over 3.5 tonnes along the SP 31 of the Manghen Pass due to a landslide movement located about 6 km from the village of Telve. The complete opening to transit is scheduled for today morning.
