Introduction of the agreement instead of the opinion of the regional and provincial councils on statutory changes and revision of the limits with which regional and provincial legislators must comply. These are the two main topics that the regions and autonomous provinces said they wanted to obtain from a discussion with the government this morning in Rome. The goal set is to have a shared text to present to Parliament within two weeks. 'The main mechanism that we want to obtain is the principle of agreement and then trying to go and scale down the rulings of the constitutional court that call into question our primary competences'. This is what the President of the Region and Autonomous Province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti said at the end of the meeting of the regions and autonomous provinces in Rome in the presence, among others, of the President of Friuli Venezia Giulia Massimiliano Fedriga and the President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Arno Kompatscher.
