   Alto Vanoi, new wolf-proof bivouac for shepherds

   A new permanent bivouac dedicated to shepherds who lead their flocks to the mountain pastures has been inaugurated in the pastures of the Upper Vanoi Valley, at Socede Alta. These living modules, made of larch wood, support the traditional activity at high altitudes, also as a defence against large carnivores. The 'shelter' was officially handed over this morning to the municipality of Castello Tesino, owner of the area, and is part of the special Plan desired by the provincial administration and taken care of by the Forestry Service, with the local Primiero Forestry District and the collaboration of the State Forestry Agency (Aprofod), which intervened in support of the municipality.

   Provincial elections 2023, second day for filing candidatures open

   The second day dedicated to the filing of candidatures for the 2023 provincial elections opened this morning at the Province's headquarters (Trento, Piazza Dante 15, first floor, Mittempergher wing). The procedure overseen by the Electoral, Anti-Corruption and Control Service will continue until Thursday 21 September, with the following timetable: from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. today and tomorrow, Wednesday 20 September, while Thursday, the last day, closes at 12 noon.
   
   At 12 noon today, one candidature for president and two lists had been filed, in addition to the two candidatures for president and the nine lists filed yesterday.

    Operations began today on a further stage in the run-up to the 2023 provincial elections. As of 8 a.m. today, the filing of candidacies opened at the Province's headquarters (Trento, Piazza Dante 15, first floor, Mittempergher wing). The procedure will continue until Thursday 21 September, with the following timetable: from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. every day except Thursday, the last day, when it closes at 12 noon.
    Please note that it is possible to deposit the candidature for president as well as the list alone. It is, of course, the task of the office in charge of the procedure, the Electoral, Anti-Corruption and Control Service of the Province, to verify the completeness of the documentation to be submitted, while it will be the task of the Central Constituency Office to admit the candidatures.
    As of 12 noon today, two nominations for president and two lists had been filed.
