   Former Church Barracks: the Province proposes an exchange to the Ministry of Defence

   The Autonomous Province of Trento wants to acquire part of the former Chiesa barracks, still owned by the Ministry of Defence, where three residential buildings for military personnel should be built.
   This is the request presented in Rome to Defence Minister Guido Crosetto by President Maurizio Fugatti. In return, the Province offered either the area north of the Pizzolato Barracks owned by Patrimonio del Trentino and, in part, by the Municipality of Trento, or the area south of the Barracks itself, owned by the Municipality. In one of these two areas the military could then build their new residences.

    Meal voucher at EUR 7, Apran authorised to sign agreements with trade unions

    The process that will bring the meal voucher for public sector personnel to the value of seven euro - it is currently at six - continues. With separate measures, which bear the signatures of President Maurizio Fugatti, Vice-President Francesca Gerosa and Councillor Mario Tonina, the Provincial Council authorised the Provincial Agency for Negotiation Representation to definitively sign the texts of the agreements with the trade unions signed on 10 January last (for the Local Autonomies, Research and Health Departments) and 19 December and 28 December 2023 for the School Sector. The signing will be preceded by the certification by the audit section of the Court of Auditors. Once the procedures are completed, the increase in meal vouchers to EUR 7 will be effective.

    Trento European Volunteer Capital, Councillor Tonina in the Committee

    Provincial Councillor for Health, Social Policies and Cooperation Mario Tonina will participate in the work of the 'Trento European Volunteer Capital 2024' Committee. This was decided today by the Provincial Council in sharing the statutory aims of the Committee, the realisation of which is a fundamental and valuable opportunity for growth and development both for the world of volunteering and for the community and social actors of the entire provincial territory.
    The Committee was set up by the Municipality of Trento and CSV Trentino - Non Profit Network ETS, as founding promoters, last 11 October, while the designation of the city of Trento as European Volunteer Capital dates back to December 2022, by the Centre for European Volunteering (CEV).
