    A delegation from the Autonomous Province of Bolzano today visited the Protontherapy Centre in Trento. In addition to the Councillor for Health, the Director of the Health Department and the Director of the Health Division of the Province of Bolzano, the General Director of Apss, the Director of the Centre and the Director of Health Physics with the staff of the facility were there to welcome the Councillor for Health of the Province of Trento. The aim of the visit was to examine, with an eye to the future, some of the issues involved in the border collaboration between the two autonomous provinces and to get a closer look at the activities and potential of proton therapy.

    Redetermined minimum number of hours of school-to-work alternance activities for schools

    A new minimum hourly determination of activities, which is congruous to guarantee both the quality of the experience carried out and its effectiveness, in compliance with the aims of school-work alternation, strengthened in its orientation character. These, in short, are the objectives of the resolution approved today by the Provincial Council, at the proposal of the Vice-President. As of the 2024/2025 school year, therefore, the minimum number of hours of alternance school-to-work courses in education will be remodulated, from 400 to 250 hours in technical and professional institutes and from 200 to 150 hours in high schools, including orientation activities carried out in the last three years.

    Euregio Tuesday, spotlight on work

    The next Euregio Tuesday meeting will be dedicated to the theme of organisational autonomy in the workplace. It will be held on Tuesday 21 May, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Casa Moggioli, in via Grazioli 25, Trento, headquarters of the Euregio Tirolo-Alto Adige-Trentino. This is the fifth thematic in-depth study of the six planned, based on the results of the research on working conditions carried out in the Euregio in 2021, as the territorial focus of the European Working Conditions Survey (EWCS). In the first part of the morning, after the institutional greetings, the report describing the picture in the Euregio area and in the individual territories will be presented. This will be followed by a number of presentations by experts, with contributions from the social partners.
