Meteotrentino reports that from today evening, Monday, and until the middle hours of tomorrow, more and more widespread and intense rainfall is expected, particularly in the morning of tomorrow. The snow quota will be around 700 metres in the more open and windy southern sectors; elsewhere, snowfall or snow mixed with rain will be possible even at altitudes below 500 metres. By early afternoon tomorrow, an average of 10 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected above 700 to 1,000 metres, with greater accumulations at higher altitudes in the central and southern sectors. At lower altitudes the accumulations will be more limited, but a few centimetres may be deposited locally also in the valley floors of the Valsugana and, not entirely excluded, of the Adige valley. In the course of the afternoon on Tuesday, the rainfall will tend to die out, with a gradual increase in the snow quota up to about 1,000-1,300 metres. Between Wednesday and Thursday, the transit of a new disturbing impulse is possible, which could bring weak or moderate precipitation, with snowfall mainly above 1,000 metres and locally also at lower altitudes.
